For me there is nothing more
special than the very first
moments of a baby’s life.
Whether the delivery room is a
hospital in a downtown city or
in a bedroom in a cottage in
the country, there is always a
moment of complete
juxtaposition where the labor
groans of the mother cease
and the baby’s first breath is
taken.
In that moment when peace and chaos collide I always smile, because I know that God is near.
